The Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) is a non-profit,
industry-funded organization which manages extended producer responsibility programs
to increase recovery rates of beverage containers.
- CBCRA successfully manages the Recycle Everywhere, program which will launch in
Ontario on April 1, 2023.
- In Manitoba, the Recycle Everywhere program has achieved a 72 per cent recovery rate
as of 2021. This is a dramatic increase from 42 per cent when the program launched in
2010. Recycle Everywhere also achieved an 80% recovery rate for PET beverage
bottles at the end of 2021.
